Nothing in those buildings is square any more, so a replacement pane is never a straight swap off the original drawing. A few minutes away the newer retail — Milton Crossroads, the plazas along Louis St. Laurent Avenue and Bronte Street South, and the Milton Mall frontages that have been on Main Street since 1965 — is big aluminum-framed glass taking delivery dollies, shopping carts and snow shovels all winter.
